Welcome to the online home of Von Wertz Rottweilers! I have been a Rottweiler owner and breeder for over 30 years. I am also an AKC conformation judge of Rottweilers, Boxers and Dobermans with permit status in  Alaskan Malamutes, Bullmastiffs, Great Danes, Pyrenees and Kuvasz. I truly enjoy judging and find each breed has their unique and likable characteristics.

There is nothing like owning a Rottweiler – experiencing the playful puppy period, wild adolescent periods, and then adulthood. With their high intelligence, this breed does best when it has a job to do – whether it’s obedience, tracking, herding, carting, or barn hunting.

The most important thing to me in placing a puppy is that it will have a loving, forever home and truly be part of the family. In addition, my hope is for all my dogs and those puppies produced to have healthy longevity.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have owned some very special dogs. The Rottweilers of the past have made my attachment to this breed even stronger.
